21st Century Technology Influenced From The Past

Our generation has become very reliant on technology that without it, I think most of us would be clueless. If you compare late 20th century technology to the technology that we have created in the 21st century, you would not believe how much we have advanced. There are even conspiracy theories that some sort of aliens came to Earth and did something to human life that allowed us to become so advanced in technology so fast. I think one technology that is crucial to the 21st century are smartphones. We were able to merge speaking on telephones, browsing the internet, video chatting, and so much more into a device that weighs no more than 7 ounces. Just the fact that we were able to combine all of those tasks into one small device had changed the way humans went about our daily lives. Of course, the creation of the smartphone made it easier for us to complete tasks that we would have to wait until we got to the to a computer. Although this was a major convenient step in our society, we have become so dependent on our smartphones. Practically our whole lives are on one tiny device.
